This series of paintings is based on snapshots of frozen screens from Skype video conversations. The images portrayed in the snapshots were taken each time the artist’s computer had frozen due to a bad Internet connection or to the slowness of her computer. Each image is painted onto a canvas whose size has been calculated so that the portrayed person is presented life-size. All paintings were made with acrylic on canvas in 2012.
